Santoprene material:
1. Chloroprene rubber (CR) is a polymer made from monomer polymerization of chloroprene.
2. This rubber molecule contains chlorine atoms, so compared with other general rubbers, it has excellent anti oxygen and anti ozone properties, non flammable, self extinguishing after fire, oil resistance, solvent resistance, acid and alkali resistance, aging resistance, good air tightness and other advantages; Its physical and mechanical properties are better than natural rubber, so it can be used as general rubber and special rubber.
3. The main disadvantages are poor cold resistance, high specific gravity, high relative cost, poor electrical insulation, easy to roll, scorch and die sticking during processing.
